An Apple patent that was filed about a month ago , and only now unearthed, reveals the company’s intention to create a virtual DJ interface for the Mac (and possibly the iPhone and rumored MacBook touch ).

Now, just because there’s a patent for this doesn’t mean we’ll all be playing around with iDJ any time soon. Apple patents things all the time that never get made. Besides, there’s already unique DJ interfaces out there.

So… who wants to go to Ibiza next week to see Trentemøller?
