Dell’s gone ahead and added a lowercase “Z” to its Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 15 lines. That little Z means a little less weight and a thinner design thanks to ultra low-voltage CPUs from Intel. There’s also the 11.6-inch Inspiron 11z CULV model, too, in case you missed it.

The 11z is priced at $449 for a non-customizable quick-ship model, while the 14z starts at $649 and the 15z starts at $599. As far as weight is concerned, the three models tip the scales at 3, 4.4, and 4.8 pounds, respectively. The 14- and 15-inch models include built-in optical drives, while the 11.6-inch one doesn’t include an optical drive.
