Deutsche Telekom and Out There Media join forces in mobile advertising

One of the leading players in the mobile advertising space, Out there media, is entering into a strategic partnership with Deutsche Telekom on a global level. The two companies have already partnered in a couple of European markets such as Germany and Greece.

The deal will be carried out on multiple levels, whereby Out there media, headquartered in Vienna, will be handling technology and operations support and sales in selected countries of operation of Deutsche Telekom. There are also some major global brands, such as Procter & Gambel, DHL (Germany), Microsoft or Nokia that are upfront customers of the newly formed alliance and will be served through Out there media’s proprietary ad serving platform Mobucks.

This is a significant move for Out there media as a startup who will want to prosper in the battle with other international players such as Smaato and the likes. And with a growing market share of smart phones, mobile advertising is on the rise and is slowly gaining traction as a significant revenue stream.
