runcore-ssdSSDs are slowing becoming available to geeks on a budget and the latest from RunCore carry attractive prices.

The little, 1.8-inch drives start out at $69.99 for the 16GB flavor but continue up through 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB sizes. ($119, $199, $389, respectively) These tiny SSDs are self-proclaimed, low cost solutions so don’t expect lighting read/write speeds out of ‘em. The 256GB Pro III Hyper Speed 2.5-inch SATA Drive however boosts 230MB/sec read and 150MB/sec write speeds though. That guy sports $699 price though which isn’t exactly a ‘budget’ price in my book.
