Slashphone.com has found a watch-phone doodad that you could almost wear without setting off the nearest Nerd Alert. Almost. It’s called the G108 (from China) and it’s got an impressive list of features crammed into its tiny body.
That right there on the left-hand side of the face is a 1.3-megapixel camera. There’s also Bluetooth connectivity for use with headsets or you can use the built-in speakerphone to broadcast both sides of your conversation to everyone within a 25-foot radius.
The inside display is 1.5 inches and features 256 thousand colors and a 128 x 60 resolution and, as you can see in the above photo, there’s a second external display with the time, signal strength, and battery life.
The phone part uses a quad-band GSM connection (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and can also be used to send SMS and MMS messages. There’s half a megabyte of internal memory but the storage can apparently be expanded via a memory card slot that’s featured somewhere on the device (maybe on the underside).
Once you pop in a memory card, you can use the included media player software to watch movies and view photos. Unreal. We’re living in exciting times, people.
