Sony Ericsson gets new head and Sir Stringer comes in to shake things up

Sure Sony can’t solve its own problems but SE has brought in a new head, Bert Nordberg, and is officially placing Sir CEO Hoard Stringer as the head of the board. The resulting shake-up had better give SE a huge boost or else they’re going down.

Nordberg replaces Carl-Henric Svanberg.

“Bert Nordberg has a strong track-record in the area of business realignment and was instrumental in the transformation of Ericsson in the years 2002-2003,” Svanberg said in a statement.

“I am confident he will be able to build upon the foundation Dick has created and lead the final stages of Sony Ericsson’s transformation,” he said.
