Ellen Pao is the former CEO of Reddit; she resigned July 10, 2015 after serving as CEO since November 2015. Previously, she was a partner at the venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and held various roles BEA Systems. In May 2012, Pao filed a gender-discrimination lawsuit against Kleiner Perkins and was subsequently fired from the firm.
She began her career as an attorney for Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Pao holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, a JD from Harvard Law School and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
