Pinterest Is Looking For Ways To Permit The Right Kind Of Nudity (Aka Art, Not Porn)

    Pinterest nudes

Pinterest is rubbing up against the limits of its own overmodest acceptable usage policy. The social site that lets people share images of things they really dig has told the FT it plans to allow more nude images to be pinned by users — following complaints from artists and photographers about its current nudes ban. No nudity is the first clause in Pinterest’s current acceptable use policy. → Read More

What Is It About Porn? An Interview With The Founders Of TheWorstDrug, A NSFW GIF Site

    Suicide

Porn is the new Tumblr. It seems that everyone with a CS degree and a little free time is trying to cash in (or at least dabble) in the world of online sexuality, a happenstance that I’d chalk up to the ubiquity of boobies online and the potential for perceived riches. But what inspires a pair of designers and artists to create a site that essentially catalogs every NSFW GIF they can find? → Read More

    700.hq

Three Canadian entrepreneurs from Montreal, John Phillips, Craig Hensley, and Amy Ambrose, wanted to fix what was wrong in porn. As you can imagine, their site – which I’ll link to after this so you don’t have to be polluted by its influence – is amazingly NSFW. Luckily, it’s also amazingly cool. → Read More

Porn Site Breaks Down Searches By Country, Surprising No One

Screen Shot 2013-03-13 at 12.26.02 PM

In what amounts to either a breathtaking breach of privacy or one of the most fascinating sex research artifacts of the year, PornMD (acceptably SFW as long as you don’t search), a porn search engine, has broken down porn searches by country and US state. The system offers a fairly complete view into the fapping habits of people worldwide and suggests that while the people of Minnesota are into… → Read More

    Vine age update

Vine, the Twitter-owned video sharing iOS app which lets users knit together snippets of video to create six second loops, has had its user age rating increased to 17+. The increase was bundled in a v1.0.5 app update which requires users to confirm they are “at least 17 years old” before the download begins, and warns of “frequent/intense sexual content or nudity”, among other warnings. → Read More

Apple Pulls Vine From App Store’s Featured Section After Porn Showed Up In Editors’ Picks

    vineporn

While Apple hasn’t made a peep yet about Vine’s slight porn problem, the App Store has removed the video-sharing app from its Featured Section.

The app launched on Thursday, and found itself in the Featured section of the App Store by Friday. Since, it’s swung to the top of Social in the App Store, and has climbed to the number four free app overall.

But this morning, many new Viners woke… → Read More

“Human Error” Caused Vine’s DildoPlay Editor’s Pick

    dildoplay

This morning, new Vine users woke up to quite the treat. Twitter’s new video sharing app launched a NSFW, porn clip called “DildoPlay” to the top of the Editor’s Picks section of the app, a place where users can browse the latest and greatest vines.

Vine only launched last week, and has already been reported as having a small porn problem. Searching the hashtag #porn within the app will give… → Read More

Vine, Hardcore Porn Should Not Be An Editor’s Pick Video

    IMG_0156

Video sharing app Vine came under fire this past weekend for having a bit of a porn problem. That it has adult content on the network shouldn’t surprise anyone, and as long as it’s something you have to look for, I think criticizing them for it is as sensible as criticizing Google. But today (right now, as of this writing) the top featured pick on my home feed, and on the feed of many users… → Read More

    photo-1

If you build it they will come. Vine, Twitter’s new video sharing platform, is currently experiencing a porn problem. As Nick Bilton pointed out earlier, by searching for the tags “#porn” or similar NSFW words, you can find content featuring exhibitionists of various stripes as well as porn video taken directly from laptop screens. → Read More

The Roger Dubuis Quatuor Watch Attempts To Outfox Gravity With Four Separate Balance Wheels

Today’s watch porn comes courtesy of Roger Dubuis, a manufacturer of odd timepieces. Their latest, the Quatour (which kind of sounds like a character from Total Recall), is a watch with four separate escapements that average each other out as the watch is worn. It’s very weird. → Read More

Fear Not, Those Without Access To Other Avenues To Internet Porn, Google Is Not Really Censoring Results

    scaled.Screen Shot 2012-12-12 at 3.52.17 PM

Be brave, heroes, for the hour is at hand: Google, in their wisdom, is now filtering – or selectively showing – hardcore porn with a bit heavier hand. This means looking up “boobs” on Google brings far fewer bare breasts than before but looking up “orgy facial sex” will definitely bring up some of the sweet stuff. → Read More

    Could Romney Really Ban Porn?

    woman

Republican Presidential front-runner, Mitt Romney, may hold the most unpopular stance in American history: he wants to ban as much porn as he can. A 2007 video (below) of Romney promising to place porn filters on every new computer have resurfaced after his legal adviser “assured” President Reagan’s anti-porn legal crusader that Romney sticks by his pledge to curtail porn and resumes prosecution… → Read More

GoGoFantasy Is A New Kinkstarter For Porn

    sexstarter

GoGoFantasy is a patent-pending system for crowdfunding porn. Folks with fetishes, grandmas with groin urgings, and couples into copulating can create projects and request cash in return for filming certain acts. For example, one young lady will mount two cameras in a small plane and film her activity in the cabin. And she won’t be reading her Kindle and eating peanuts, if you catch my meaning. → Read More

The Era Of The Porn Superstar Might Be Coming (Hah!) To An End

Screen Shot 2012-05-06 at 12.31.33 PM

The Internet is a lot like the American Dream. It’s this huge opportunity for anyone who wants to make something of themselves — a nearly ubiquitous platform to showcase skills and talents. Yet, it is so incredibly saturated with people trying to do exactly the same thing that the opportunity gets smaller and smaller, shrinking to the size of a pin point as more people hop online.

UK ISPs: Do You Have Any Idea How Difficult It'd Be To ‘Ban’ Online Porn?

UK Internet Service Providers have hit out at a proposal to make online pornography an opt-in “feature” of sorts. They’ve done so not because they love spending all day browsing whatever, but because, well, it shouldn’t be their job to censor the Internet before it enters your home. If you want to lock down your computer so your children don’t access such material, fine. Good on you for taking… → Read More

Japanese P2P virus catches you downloading porn, demands money to clear your name
