Apple launched the Apple Watch smartwatch in September 2014 as its first foray into the wearable technology industry. The Apple Watch features inductive charging, a square face, sapphire glass, swappable bands, a heartbeat sensor and a rotating digital crown.
It can be manipulated by pressing a small dial, or digital crown, on the side, which takes you to the watch’s homescreen, a feature that users can personalize. It also uses voice input through Siri and has a digital touch function to sketch pictures on the watch face.
The Apple Watch offers six straps, and comes in two sizes and three collections: Watch, Watch Sport, and Watch Edition. It only works in with the iPhone 5 or higher.
