This year was a pretty amazing one in technology: Many startups were funded and acquired, and there were some real advancements made in the way that we communicate on a daily basis. Java application infrastructure and management solutions provider SpringSource, itself picked up by VMware last year, this morning announced the acquisition of Rabbit Technologies, an open source software company based in the UK.
