Samsung just announced that its Galaxy Note 10.1 is headed to Verizon with 4G LTE connectivity. And if that weren’t enough, the S-Pen-enabled tablet will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

If you are unfamiliar with the GalNote 10.1, it brings the screen real estate of a tablet to the creative power afforded by the Galaxy Note smartphone. By including support for the Wacom-esque S-Pen stylus… → Read More

Samsung Launches A Lightly Tweaked, LTE-Capable Galaxy Note 10.1 In Its Native Korea

    galnote101

Flawed though it may have been, I was a quite a fan of Samsung’s S Pen-friendly Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet — even with flashy new devices like the Note 2 on the market, I still think the whole concept just works best on a bigger screen.

Samsung seems to be rather fond of the thing too, as it has just officially launched an LTE-capable version of the tab in its native Korea with a global… → Read More

Booth attendants were quick to note that the units thousands of other geeks and I were playing with weren’t quite final, but that didn’t stop me from offering up some kind words for the tablet in training.

Now, nearly six months after that… → Read More

    galnote-green

As expected for quite a while, Samsung has just announced pricing and availability for the Galaxy Note 10.1. As you may have guessed, it’s a 10-inch WiFi tablet that includes the somewhat-pointless-but-perhaps-maybe-kind-of fun S-Pen, the same pressure-sensitive stylus you see with the Galaxy Note.

TC@MWC: Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 Finally Nails The Formula

    galnote1

I’m no great fan of Samsung’s 5+ inch Galaxy Note — it’s just too darned big for me to use the way I want to. The Galaxy Note 10.1 on the other hand pumps up size to a more familiar level, and the end result is a tablet/stylus combo that makes a lot more sense. → Read More
