There appears to be a glowing orb above San Francisco, and the skies are clear and blue. The tech gods must be happy today.

Developers and press are gathered – with some having waited all night long – to see and hear what new software-based developments Apple has in store at the annual WWDC. We already know about a few things: iOS 6, Mountain Lion and Facebook integration. We might even see a slew of revamped MacBooks, too. Any guesses as to what else they might reveal?

The main event begins at 10 a.m. Pacific. In the meantime, sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee, some Pepto and a snack.
