Sam Altman

Sam Altman is an entrepreneur, programmer, venture capitalist and blogger. He is best known as the president of Y Combinator. He also co-founded and was CEO of Loopt, a location-based social networking mobile application. Part of Y Combinator’s first “batch” in 2005, Loopt was acquired by Green Dot Corporation in 2012. Paul Graham listed Altman as one of the five most interesting startup founders.
