HP's sleek Dv2 notebook now available
Priced at just $749, the Dv2 runs Vista 64-bit on a AMD Neo 1.6GHz processor, and comes standard with 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. The screen is slightly larger then the standard netbook at 12.1″, allowing you to run at 1280×800 on the ATI Mobility Radeon HD3410. That means 720p to those who keep track. The Dv2 also has a DVD drive, which has been a sticking point for many netbook buyers.
Expect to see the Dv2 at your favorite authorized dealer soon. We’ll have a detailed review in a while too, so if you want to hold off until then, we’ll understand.
