The FCC is checking out Fujitsu's new U820 UMPC
The most notable change with the U820 is the chipset, this time around it will be Atom-based. A few people in the tech world think it will be an Intel Atom Z530 with the 945GU Express. The keyboard has also been reworked, adding an additional row of keys. There are no changes to the screen of the device, it will still feature a 5.6-inch display with a 1024 x 600 resolution. It will come in two flavors of OS, Vista or XP Tablet Edition.
It has been reported, that the documentation contains information about a FM transmitter inside. I guess you would use this for pumping jams to a FM radio near by. I’m not sure if I would use this, but it’s nice to know it’s there if I ever need it. Also, another big feature named in the documentation is support for 802.11n, which is something we could all use a little more of.
