Video: The Pic3D Sheet Turns Your 2D Screen Into A Naked-Eye 3D Display
Pic3D is based on the lenticular lens system, with Global Wave preparing versions for LCDs sized at 12.1 (1,280×800 resolution), 15.6 (1,366×768), 21.5 (1,920×1,080), and 23 (1,920×1,080) inches. 3D sheets for the iPad 2, iPhone and iPod touch 4G are coming, too.
Game Wave explains:
“Basically it will work with video files which are in the side by side format, and if you input URLs for side by side formatted content on sites such as YouTube, it will work with them too. Right now we plan to begin sales in early August, and at first we plan to sell it through our own direct sales website.”
The company plans to start rolling out the first sheets in August, with prices ranging from $25 for the iPhone model to $186 for the 23-inch film.
