Jason Calacanis To Speak At TechCrunch Disrupt, And He Wants To Buy You A Ticket
So I’m pleased to announce that TechCrunch Disrupt in New York on May 24-26 is Calacanis-Free.
Well, almost.
Since the event wouldn’t be quite the same without him, he has graciously agreed to attend as a speaker and an expert panelist to work with launching startups. We’ve added him to the speaker list. And he wants to show you that there are no hard feelings by buying two full priced tickets to the event and giving them for free to two lucky readers chosen at random.
Jason says he’ll launch his own event later this year, and we’ll support and cover that event. This is a small community, after all, and just because we’re not business partners with Jason Calacanis any more doesn’t mean we won’t continue to support his efforts to help the startup community.
Get your ticket to TechCrunch Disrupt here. And if you are an engineer/hacker, join our awesome and free Hack Day the weekend before the event – the best projects get stage time in front of the full conference audience. There are just a few spots left.
Update: To clear things up – TechCrunch Disrupt will be held three times a year from now going forward. Spring in New York, Fall in San Francisco/Silicon Valley and Winter…TBA.
Update: The contest is closed, thanks to everyone who entered. Congratulations to Justin Herrick and Kevin Pruett. We will be reaching out to the winners with more information in the next few days.
