ASUS 1000HE up for preorder at $374

That upcoming 10-inch ASUS netbook with the fancy Sony/Mac-style chiclet keyboard is waiting for you at Amazon.com if you’re interested. The ship date is listed as two to three weeks but the price is real nice at just $374 for the blue or black model.
Other features include:
- New Intel Atom 280 CPU at 1.66GHz and with a 667MHz front-side bus
- Six cell battery lasts up to 9.5 hours (according to ASUS)
- 10-inch screen at 1024×600 resolution
- 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth
- 160GB SATA hard drive
- 1GB of RAM
- Windows XP
- 3.2 pounds
That seemingly usable keyboard and day-long battery life should make this thing pretty appealing to a fair amount of people. Now if they’d just bump up that screen resolution…
