Born in Punjab, India, Gurbaksh Chahal is an Indian-American entrepreneur, philanthropist, and author. In 1998, at the age of 16, Chahal dropped out of high school to work at his first venture, an advertising network called ClickAgents, which was bought by ValueClick in 2000. In 2004, Chahal formed BlueLithium, a company specializing in behavioral targeting of banner advertising. Yahoo bought BlueLithium in October 2007 for $300 million.
In 2009, Chahal started his third online ad company, now known as RadiumOne. After pleading guilty to domestic violence battery charges in 2014, however, he was fired from RadiumOne. In July 2014, Chahal launched his fourth technology company, Gravity4.
