I’m starting to like 2K Games more and more. First, they launch the incredibly fun Borderlands. Then, they proceed to make mountains of DLC, in a market where most companies prefer to sell what should be DLC as a whole new game (I’m looking at you, Left4Dead2). So if you haven’t bought Borderlands, you should. If you already have it, get ready for more – the Robolution… → Read More
“The way our engine and game structure works is that people need to have the exact same content for people to play together. One of the challenges with post-launch content for MP is that it can split the player base, and we want to avoid that whenever possible.” Yes, because increasing the level cap for some players, as well as giving them new characters and new weapons, won’t “split the player… → Read More
The headline might be misleading or confusing, but the BioShock and Elder Scrolls bundle does not include a console. It’s just a games bundle that includes the 2006 and 2007 Game of the Year Winners. http://videomedia.ign.com/ev/ev.swf Bioshock is arguably one of the best FPS games and it’s also one of the scariest f’in things to play too. I started playing Bioshock again last night and I remember why I put it away in the first place. The game freaks me out and makes me so tense that my neck starts to hurt. Yeah, I know, I’m a big baby, but whatever. PS3 owners have… → Read More

2K Games has removed an annoying piece of its DRM restrictions in the PC version of BioShock, a game I refuse to play because of its violent content. While SecureROM and all that other DRM goodness remain, you’re no longer limited to the number of PCs you can install the game in. A victory for freedom, to be sure. Seriously, how do you PC gamers put up with all that DRM nonsense? It seems… → Read More

Oh boy! 2K Sports is announcing the arrival of Don King to the world of gaming today. It doesn’t seem to be your typical boxing game, though. Sure it has the career mode where you can train said boxer and all that, but throw in adversity, temptation and a few other distractions and you have Don King Presents: Prizefighter. Awesome.
