Apple Event September 12

We knew it was coming and now it’s official. Apple has just sent out press invites for its rumored September 12 event. By the looks of the invite it’s pretty plain to see what product the company will be launching – the next iPhone!

We’ll be liveblogging the event from the Yerba Buena Center. The event is scheduled for a 10AM PT start time.

Here’s what we know so far about the next iPhone:

- Apple may package the new iPhone with these redesigned earbuds.

- The iOS 6 App Store may look like this.

- It’s probably just a taller version of its current self with a 4.08-inch screen.

- Both AT&T and Verizon are putting the kibosh on vacations, which means it’ll probably be available on the 21st.

- Save those pennies because you’ll likely have to pay for adapters thanks to a smaller dock connector.

- Will battery life be any better? *shrug*

And with a little tweaking with the contrast, the numeral 5 is clearly visible.
