    We heard about the Cruz line of Android-based tablets last month, and I can’t say I’m that excited about them — they neglected to detail the processor, chipset, and RAM, so I must assume they’re low-end. That makes a real difference if you want to watch movies or play games. They’ve just been made available for pre-order at Borders (whose bookstore they use), but I’d wait for a review before plunking down.

    I’m waiting to hear more about the StoryPad, though. A kid-friendly, simple tablet loaded with interactive books? A lot of parents wouldn’t mind dropping a couple bills on that.
