Well, how many times a week do you really boot a phone up? I never really shut mine off as do most people with a smartphone.
How about some video of the thing in action, not a boring, uninspirint animation while the thing takes as long as my desktop to start.

Why on earth would they use the same colors as the Microsoft logo?
Although, the Google logo does have the same colors I guess.
You have a point; it’s not just the same 4 colors, but the same 4 colors in the same order in a square arrangement.
I thought the same. The boot up reminded me of the windows logo.
they need more white. i don’t mind it. i didn’t automatically make the windows logo connection because the google logo shares the same colours, but the thing is that microsoft/windows uses more squares with there ideas whereas google has more circuls or shapes w/o sharp edges. kinda adds a seperation to the companies, and the biggest thing is that white/cleanliness is abig component for google, along with minimalism whereas with windows/ms they seem to have a thing about backgrounds, coloured backgrounds, landscape backgrounds, backgrounds of all type. i like the nexus idea but i think they could do way better with that idea. infact i think they could have gone maybe 3 different routes with this instead of picking this form. either way it’s a start. i hope they don’t get stuck with it and that it becomes the overall brand for their new phones.

Before I said anything stupid, I took a look at the boot time of my e63 and I realized 20 seconds it’s pretty damn good. It took 43 seconds to boot.
Do that with yours before bs’ing.
Isn’t chrome OS going to have like 4 secs boot time? That’s a full OS running on bigger machines.
That’s a 1gz processor? Slow yeah? Still… I might have to make a run to fapmapper now. Did I just say that out loud?

The boot did seem long. But then I booted up my Touch Pro 2 at the same time I started the video and it definitely took longer than the Nexus.
