Punch-Out!!! was being demoed at the Nintendo booth, so we thought we’d take a crack at it. The controls are… well, they’re okay. The gameplay is almost identical to the NES game, except the NES game is a lot snappier.

I’m not trying to rag on the game, but from what I can tell, it’s almost literally, punch for punch, the same game as before. I’m sure there’s other stuff we didn’t get to see, though. Also, for the record, you don’t have to punch for real like I did. Little twitches served just fine for other, less dangerous people than myself. And, as Penny Arcade notes, it made them toolboxes.
