We all love music. I mean, when’s the last time you heard someone say they didn’t like listening to music? But for some of us, plugging in some ear buds and cranking a jam or two on the iPod just doesn’t cut it. If that sounds like you, please allow me to introduce you to one of the newest apps to grace the iOS platform: Thrillcall.
Thrillcall has taken its live music discovery site and transformed it into a mobile app to let you find and purchase tickets to live music events when you’re out and about. The app has exclusive offers for shows and makes finding a local concert much more simple.
After installing the app, users will see a list of local concerts in their area, and have the ability to purchase tickets from within the app. Like most apps, Thrillcall has a social element to it as well, letting you share concert plans with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
But the real bread and butter of the app lies in its exclusive “flash” ticket offers, which unfortunately is only available to San Franciscans at the moment. This will allow for people without a plan to see what’s happening right now/tonight/soon to figure out something fun to do and buy the tickets right on the spot.
The Thrillcall app is available now in the Apple App Store for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch (running iOS 4.3 or later) for free. Android fans, fear not. Thrillcall is working on an Android version as we speak and it should be available “soon.”
