Google's New Video Ad Highlights How Content Farms Rule At The Search Game

What Is Yahoo Thinking? Buying Associated Content Opens Up A Whole Can Of Worms

Yahoo will look a little more like AOL and Demand Media with its acquisition today of Associated Content. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but AdAge is reporting that the deal was north of $100 million. Others say it was $90 million. Associated Content Raises $6 Million For Publishing Platform

Online publishing platform Associated Content has closed a $6 million, Series C financing round funded by SoftBank Capital, Canaan Partners and AOL CEO Tim Armstrong. Associated Content secured $10 million in Series B Financing from SoftBank, Canaan, and Armstrong in 2007. The company also closed $5.4 million in Series A funding from SoftBank in 2006.
