The 2011 Crunchies is our fifth annual competition and award ceremony to recognize and celebrate the most compelling startups, internet and technology innovations of the year.
The Crunchies is co-hosted by GigaOm, VentureBeat, and TechCrunch. Best of all, the internet community is invited to choose who wins.
The Crunchies award ceremony takes place on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco with the ceremony beginning at 7:30 pm. The Davies is an elegant, 2700-seat theater is home to the San Francisco Symphony, just the type of setting to give the Crunchies the air of importance they deserve. Crunchies General Admission tickets will be released in batches beginning December 13th.

Following the Crunchies Awards, the celebration will continue at the Davies for this year’s after party. As always there will be a hosted bar, hors d’oeuvres, casino game room, and other fun entertainment and surprises.

The after party begins immediately following the ceremony at 9 pm until 11:30 pm. Admission to the party is included with a purchase of an Awards Ceremony ticket.

The Davies Symphony Hall has sweeping views of San Francisco City Hall and the War Memorial Opera House. The curved lobby makes a gorgeous setting for the fifth annual Crunchies. Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall is at 201 Van Ness Avenue at Grove Street. The main entrance is on the south side of Grove Street between Van Ness Avenue and Franklin Street.
