    Apple used the WWDC stage today to announce a new MacBook Pro. Housed in the same casing, this model packs new innards. The notebooks pack Intel’s latest chips, code-named Ivy Bridge, along with a host of new goodies.

    Packed inside the MacBook Pro’s is Intel’s Ivy Bridge CPU that promises improved performance and better battery life. The chip also allows for USB 3.0, the same as on the just-announced MacBook Air. The screen resolution is the same as before, 1440 x 900, although there is a new Nvidia chip to drive the graphics.

    The models are available for the same price as the previous models with prices starting at $1799 for the 15-inch. They ship today.
