Moscow-based Heverest.ru, an online retailer of sportswear, leisure and travel goods, has scored $4.3 million in financing from an unnamed “large” Russian investment fund and previous backer eVenture Capital Partners, bringing its total raised to $6.7 million.

The startup says it will use the additional funding to finance the expansion of their online product offering, boost sales and marketing efforts, as well as improving the quality of their customer service by enhancing the current CRM system.

Today, Heverest.ru offers more than 6,000 items from 150 major sport and leisure brands, including Nike, Columbia, Adidas, Reebok and Puma. The website currently has an average of 600,000 visitors per month, the company says.

Heverest.ru was launched by startup business incubator and accelerator Fast Lane Ventures, which has been operational since June 2011.
