Cisco might be done with the pocket camcorder, but others are not. The Casio Tryx just hit Best Buy from Best Buy for $250. Spec-wise, the camcorder doesn’t exactly stand out from the rest. There’s a 1080p 12.1MP CMOS sensor, 1x optical zoom, autofocus, and 35MB of built-in memory in addition to a MicroSD card slot. However, the Tryx does pack a 240 fps high speed capture mode and in-camera image editing including Casio’s HDR-art mode. Is that enough to justify the $250 price? It might be now that the Tryx lost a major competitor. [Best Buy via Electronista]
