You have to give it to TiVo and its just-released iPad app. They might not be the fastest responding company on the block. But they know how to get things done.

The TiVo iPad app does just about everything you’d imagine a TiVo iPad would. Not only does it turn the slate into a large TiVo remote where you can browse the electronic programming guide, manage recordings and to-do lists, but it also acts as a sort of IMDB discovery tool and social networking portal where you can share your love for Mad Men and The O.C.

TiVo, being the predicable and stable company that they are, didn’t seem to slip in anything new into the app from when it was announced back in November. It’s the same thing, which makes the sneak peak video also released at the same time conveniently applicable to this post as well.
