The latest Logitech lapdesk is somewhat novel. Sure, it’s still a lapdesk with the primary purpose of protecting your naughty bits from toasted skin syndrome, but it does a little extra with a speakers. Up top are two USB-powered stereo speakers. Now, these things probably aren’t known for their audio fidelity, but they should be better than your notebook’s stock speakers.

The backside of the N550 is made up of a 4-layer heat shield that’s covered by a soft air-mesh fabric. Expect it this January for $80 in Euroland and later this month for $60 in the States. [Blog.Logitech]
