The Octiv Duo does all of these things, as well as working as an alarm clock. It’s also possible to mix the playlist from two iDevices, creating a truly random music selection. This is accomplished using a free app that comes with the Duo, allowing you to control what percentage of the mix comes from which side of the dock. The Octiv Duo is also small enough to fit into a corner, on a kitchen counter for example. In addition to the two 30-pin ports, the Octiv also has an additional USB port which enables you to charge a third device. The Octiv is priced at $99.99, and should be available sometime next week.
