Twitter’s Biz Stone just reeled off some key, and very long awaited stats at Chirp. The stats:

    • Twitter has 105,779,710 registered users.
    • It gets 300,000 new users a day.
    • It receives 180 Million Unique visitors a month.
    • And 75% of traffic comes from outside of Twitter.com

CEO Evan Williams later on noted that developers are making 3 billion requests a day through the APIs.

Another stat: Twitter now has 175 employees, up from 25 a year ago.
