Earlier today, T-Mobile announced the availability of Facebook and Twitter apps (already available on the Sidekick LX 2009) for its older Sidekicks – the Sidekick LX (including Tony Hawk Sidekick LX), Sidekick (2008), and Sidekick Slide.

While the Facebook app remains free for any ‘kick, the Twitter app is gonna run you $1.99 PER month on the older models. So, you can either dish out $24/yr for a native Twitter app, or you could wire up Facebook to automatically post to Twitter for free. Hmmm, tough call.
