Devin posted the first AI Mario run last night and now there’s a longer – and better – one. This one even includes an exciting techno beat in the background which means someone out there dragged an MP3 into Movie Maker.

On the whole I love AI solutions. I’m not big on finishing games – I head to GameFAQs about half-way in just because I’m tired of trying to figure out where the Minotaur-cyborg hid the blue key or whatever.

Apparently Nintendo actually wants to implement this sort of thing in their games, sort of an AI assist that will help the gaming morons like me get through a tough spot. Here’s hoping.
