nikon-d5000 So apparently the Nikon D5000 DSLR has a small problem where it doesn’t always turn on. Nikon has just issued a service advisory where the company address the issue. In short, if your D5000 has a certain serial number, you will be able to ship it off to Nikon starting on July 23, 2009. Shipping is of course covered by Nikon and the company will get your camera back as soon as possible. A serial number look up tool will be available on the 23rd as well. There is nothing we like more than a company that stands up and resolves these types of issues. Right, Amazon?
