That took long enough. We have known everything about Windows 7 for months now except for the release date.

Not anymore as Microsoft finally let it out that Windows 7 will be generally available on October 22, 2009. Now you just have to decide which of the seven six versions you’re going to spend your cash on. Or use the free RC for a while like us.
