    flight-of-the-navigator

Can I get a raise of hands of those that do not want Disney to remake Flight of the Navigator? Everyone? Good.

Disney, please, please do not remake Flight of the Navigator. First off, the story and plot is kind of lame anyway, but more importantly, the movie played a pivotal role in many people’s youth. Before Flight of the Navigator came around, flying saucers, government cover-ups, and time travel were not popular teen movie subjects. Hell, now every teen film is about that stuff, plus or minus vampires. Simply put, there is no reason to remake, and presumably ruin, Flight of the Navigator. Right?

But you are going to do it anyway. Oh well. At least I know that my kids will be raised on the original and I urge you to do the same.
