Remember that crazy robotic seal for the elderly? The one with the hole in its snout for “charging?” Well, you can now buy one for $6,000 and it will be available in limited quantities in April, 2009.

If you really must have one ASAP you can probably drop the Paro HQ in Illinois a line to put your name on a list somewhere. Unfortunately, you could probably buy a real seal for $6,000 so they’re aiming more at the elderly and infirm with this one.
