Pentax has announced the “Student Photography Program” to help budding photographers get the right equipment at a discounted rate. All you need to do to cash in on the savings is:
Purchase the PENTAX equipment from an authorized PENTAX dealer between April 1, 2008 and June 30, 2008
Complete a PENTAX Student Program form
Students must provide photography class enrollment certification (class schedule or copy of registration) and a copy of a valid student identification.
Educators must submit a copy of course curriculum for their photography class and a copy of a valid faculty identification.
Just out of curiosity did anyone have a Pentax K1000? I’ve got the new K200D, but I’m thinking of picking up a film camera and I’m told the K1000 was what every photography student had back in the day.
