Rumor: VOIP software working on iPod Touch?

This story is still developing, but apparently someone has gotten the "Nintendo DS-based SIP app" running on the iPod Touch.

Such software could use a microphone dock connector (pictured left) to send and receive voice calls.

This is promising news but, again, it’s still early so we’ll wait to find out more.
