I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a sucker for food-related convenience and, as such, I’ve been using Papa John’s excellent online ordering system since it was first introduced back in 2001. The pizza chain has just introduced an order-by-text-message feature similar to the Domino’s text messaging system we told you about a few months ago.
Same basic premise here. You create an account and add four of your favorite meals then send a text message with FAV1, FAV2, FAV3, or FAV4 in the body. I personally don’t consume enough pizza to stray from the current online ordering system but I could see this getting a fair amount of use with people who love pizza (like, more than a friend) or maybe you could be the dude at the next frat party that saves the day by ordering FAV1 (15 pizzas) to the Sigma Chi house when it’s too loud to call it in over whatever ridiculous Black Eyed Peas song college kids like these days.
