Id Software Hops Aboard The Steam Train

Sup guys?

Digital Trends didn’t expect it and neither did I. Seems Id Software has teamed up with rival Valve to release Id titles through the Steam distribution service. The announcement comes during QuakeCon, which is currently going down in Texas. Price is key here and not just the newer titles, but all of Id’s catalog will be available for purchase. You can get Commander Keen and other classic titles for a mere $5, while newer games like Doom 3 will set you back $20.

If you’re itching to see a list of available titles, hit up this URL. Now, are you ready for the worst joke ever? Good. It looks like Steam is picking up steam! HA!
