Epson’s retro-looking R-D1 digital camera, originally released way back in in 2004, just received a slight upgrade. Crazy! It now has a 6.1-megapixel sensor (that’s it? I’ve seen cellphones with more than that) and lost some weight, now weighing a slim 5.7-ounces. So yeah, it’s probably not the best camera out there right now, but you’re essentially just paying for its unique looks. And pay you shall, for it’ll set you back around $2,500. Frankly, that’s about $2,000 too much, but collectors of “antiques” have no sense of value anyway.
