• OCZ Releases Water-Cooled RAM

    Wednesday, March 7th, 2007

Heatsinks and spreaders are things of the past; OCZ has released memory modules with water-cooling. The core design element of OCZ’s Flex XLC Edition memory modules is the option of water-cooling. The water-cooled DDR2 PC2-6400 CL 3 FlexXLC Edition 2GB memory kits are geared towards maximum efficiency at lower speeds. These 800MHz modules run at CAS 3-4-4 automatically if your motherboard is EPP ready. This allows for a true Plug and Play overclocking feature that makes manual configurations obsolete. Other features include EVP protection up to 2.4V, 6.4 GB/s bandwidth and 12.8 GB/s memory bandwidth. Retail is around $265.
