    Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

An Altoids tin being used in a DIY project? Who would have thought! An eBay user named Cody recently purchased a Griffin iTrip despite knowing that it has crap reception. Cody then proceeded to build a signal booster with a 9V battery and an antenna stuck in an Altoids tin.

Now he’s breaking FCC regulations and his iTrip works a hell of a lot better! It’s an age-old story, people: Man gets technology, man hates technology, man fixes technology. And the world keeps spinning. If you want to build your own, check out this link.
