I’m a big fan of Canon cameras (I use an EOS-30D) and this appears to be the biggest thing they have coming: the EOS-1Ds Mark III. Featuring 22-megapixels of oh so unnecessary picturing takin’ beauty, The Mark III is set to oust the Mark II as the top rig at Canon camp. They’re also saying the Mark III will be half the size of its predecessor, making it much more versatile.
Don’t salivate too much just yet, the Mark III won’t be officially announced until the PhotoPlus Expo 2007 in October. No other information is currently available.
