. As one would expect from an Alienware gaming notebook, this thing is beastly.

It features a 17-inch display with 1080p quality. As far as I know, it’s the first Alienware laptop to have the option for an overclocked Core 2 Duo Merom CPU—coming in speeds up to 2.66GHz. The m5790 SE also has ATI Radeon graphics and a Blu-ray option.

One of the other more valuable features is the inclusion of Alienware’s Battery Control Technology. It doesn’t take an electrical engineer to tell that this system is going to suck down a lot of power, so having better power mitigation is a wise move.

You can get yours now starting at $1,299, but expect to pay a premium for that OC’ed Merom.
