Just got a Hangman iPod thingie in the mail and I strapped it to the boy for a full test. This thing is actually a tiny plastic connector that fits right into the iPod port. You unclick by pressing a little button and attach it by bending the plastic underneath the hasp away. It survived a few minutes of tugging and pulling by a curious and strong baby, so I figure it will survive a day out on the town.

It comes in black and gray and costs $19.95 at the Neat.Products page. It’s a great idea and is considerably more useful and cooler than a hefty case. One drawback – you can’t use the Nike+iPod dongle.
